Facility Hire

The Sele School is pleased to offer a wide range of facilities for hire to organised groups within the local community. We presently host a range of activities promoted by external groups, in conjunction with our Selections programme of Arts activities and Fitness classes.

We welcome new hirers and would love to hear from you if you are interested in hiring our facilities. To check availability and for details of hire fees please contact the Community Engagement Officer, Sophie Bruton either by email sbruton@sele.herts.sch.uk or by telephone 01992 581455 ext 1016.

At present we have lots of options for classroom or meeting room hire both on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. At various points in the week we also have availability in our Dance Studio, Gymnasium and Main Hall; if interested in booking please contact Sophie (as above).

While our school fields are fully booked on Saturdays and Sundays for most of the year, there is good availability on the tennis/netball courts. We regret that we are not usually able to accept bookings for a series of indoor activities on Sundays - but if you have a one-off club or community event planned for a Sunday, please enquire.    

In addition to the Selections Courses current evening and weekend activities at The Sele School include, for example; Carter School of Dance, Hertford Rock Choir, Hertford Choral Society, Bengeo Tigers Football Club, Hertford St. John's Ambulance, Hertford ESKA Karate Club, Floristry with Hertford Regional College, Active in the Community Women's and Girls Bootcamp, Back to Netball, weekly Gym sessions in our Fitness Suite and Zumba.
