Safeguarding
At The Sele School we recognise the importance of working together to ensure our safeguarding measures protect our young adults. To enable any concerns to be reported direct to our Safeguarding Team we have created an email address that can be used by any family member or member of the public. If you have any safeguarding concerns, please send them to:
Using this email will ensure the privacy of the information you provide; access to this email is strictly controlled and only staff with the appropriate safeguard training can access the messages.
Our Designated Senior Lead (DSL) for Safeguarding is our Deputy Headteacher, Mr Ross Gallacher. Deputy DSL's are Mrs Nicky Wragg, Mrs Amy Kerbel, Mr David Oyewole and Mrs Jo Axton, while the Senior Assistant Headteacher, Mrs Sam Burgess is responsible for Online Safety.
Safeguarding the Health and Wellbeing of the young people who attend The Sele School is integral to everything we do. Specific detail of some aspects of our practise can be found on our website pages relating to Pastoral Care, Student Health and Well Being, through a range of our Policies including (for example) our Child Protection Policy, Data Protection and Privacy, British Values and Prevent, Social Media and IT Use.
